HENDERSON, Tenn. - The Freed-Hardeman University athletic department will host the Hall of Fame Classic four-man scramble golf tournament on Friday, Sept. 7, as part of the third annual Hall of Fame Weekend.
The tournament will be played at Woodland Hills Golf Club in Pinson, Tenn., and will begin with a 9:00 AM shotgun start. The entry fee is $75 per player or $300 per team and includes green fees, cart and lunch.
The winners of the championship flight will receive four passes to the TPC at Southwind, home of the FedEx/St. Jude Classic. Prizes will also be awarded to winners in other flights as well as to winners of the long drive and closest-to-the-pin competitions.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Freed-Hardeman University men's and women's golf programs.
