WALESKA, Ga. - Despite limiting No 22 Reinhardt (Ga.) University to just one goal in each half, the Freed-Hardeman Lady Lion soccer team struggled to put any offense together, as they fell 2-0 to the Eagles.

Sophomore Nina Carolissen provided a majority of the offense for the Lady Lions, as she attempted three shots on goal. However, Reinhardt's keeper of the same name, Nina Haeberlin, would stop all three shots she faced to post her second clean sheet of the season.

Reinhardt's Katie Goodrich would strike first in the 30th minute of play, as she pounded in her second goal of the season past the reaching arms of FHU keeper Erin Douglas. Despite giving up two goals, Douglas was solid in goal as she saved eight shots in 72 minutes of work. Allie Hale would score the other goal in the game for Reinhardt, as she was able capitalize on her first goal of the season off a clearance from the corner.

Freshman keeper Cassandra Tymchen also logged valuable minutes in the match, as she saved two shots in 18 minutes of work.

With the loss, the Lady Lions fall to 0-1 on the season.

On the men's side, the Lions struggled to control the offensive attack of Reinhardt, as the Eagles attempted 18 shots on goal and capitalized on eight of them to take down the Lions 8-1.

George Achard scored the lone goal for the Lions in the 65th minute of play as he received a long pass from the opposite side of the field and capitalized on a one-on-one opportunity to put FHU on the board.

However, the one goal would not be enough as Reinhardt dominated the offensive possession to hand the Lions their first loss of the season.

With the loss, the Lions fall to 0-1 on the season.
