FHU Golf represented well at Fall Invitational

COVINGTON, Tenn. - The Freed-Hardeman golf teams wrapped up final round action at the FHU Fall Invitational Tuesday and with it came a pair of high finishes for both teams.

The Lion golf team shot a tournament low 290 to finish in first place in the Invitational, which was held at the Covington Country Club in Covington, Tenn. Lance Moore once again paced the Lions, shooting a final round 68. Moore's two-day total of 72-68-140 earned him medalist honors. 

Easton Lavelle's 71 (74-71-145) and Ben Burnette's 73 (75-73-148) earned them all-tournament honors while Hudson Huber's 78 rounded out the team scoring.

The Lady Lions team score of 329 earned them a second place finish, as Alex Hodgkinson led the way, shooting a 79. Brittany Myers and Kirsten Parker each shot 82 while Emily Whitnell's 86 tallied the final team score.
