HENDERSON, Tenn. - The Freed-Hardeman Lady Lion softball team added another player to its 2017 recruiting class with the recent signing of Annalise Jarnigan of Lebanon, Tenn.

Jarnigan, an infielder, prepped at Friendship Christian School, where she was an All-District performer while leading her team to a State title in 2015 and a Runner-Up finish in 2016.

Throughout her career at Friendship Christian, Jarnigan hit .364 with an on-base percentage of .421 while pounding out 64 hits and 40 RBI.

In addition to her ability on the field, Jarnigan has also found success in the classroom as she was a member of the National Honor Society throughout her time at Friendship Christian.

"Annalise is a strong middle infielder with State Championship honors," said Todd Humphry, head coach for the Lady Lion softball program. "She is a smart player with a bright future and will be able to contribute to our team either at shortstop or second base."
