HENDERSON, Tenn. - The Freed-Hardeman University Lion baseball team added another player to its 2010 recruiting class with the recent signing of Ethan Donaldson of Pontotoc, Miss.
Donaldson, an infielder, prepped at Pontotoc HS for Coach Phill Webb, where he hit .340 with 47 RBIs during his senior season on his way to being named to the all-division team. He also received the golden glove and teammate awards.
"We first saw Ethan a year ago and wanted him to come to FHU out of high school," said FHU assistant coach J.D. Flowers. "Things didn't work out last year, but we are glad to get him this year. He possesses a great desire to play the game and has the ability to play multiple positions in the infield."
He is the son of Terry and Yanda Donaldson.
