ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced its Golfer of the Week awards for the week ending April 9, 2017, and the honors have been swept by Freed-Hardeman University. The Lions’ Hudson Huber was named the AMC Men’s Golfer of the Week honor while Chloe Kraus took home the Women’s Golfer of the Week award.

Huber, a sophomore from Newnan, Ga., led the Lions to a sixth place team finish at the RedHawk Spring Classic. Huber finished fourth individually in the Classic, posting a 1-under par total of 143 (72-71).

Kraus, a sophomore from Lenexa, Kan., fired two rounds in the 70s to help lead the Lady Lions to a second place finish at the RedHawk Spring Classic. She opened with a 78, and she shaved a stroke off that total in the final round, shooting a 77 to post a total of 155.
