HENDERSON, Tenn. - The Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions swept their second consecutive conference match, cruising past Cumberland (Tenn.) University on Tuesday night in the FHU Sports Center.

FHU took the three sets in dominating fashion by the scores of 25-14, 25-17, and 25-16.

The Lady Lions relied on a balanced attack, with four players accumulating seven or more kills. Freshman Diana Silva led the way with 11 kills on only 19 attacks.  Sydney Rice added nine kills, while Karim Raymond and Nataly Gutierrez each had seven kills.  The team's attack was incredibly efficient as well, finishing the game with a .488 attack percentage.

FHU also totaled 12 aces in the match, with Silva accounting for six.  Amber Turner had 30 assists, while Carissa Foshee set nine balls that resulted in kills.

Freed-Hardeman (6-6, 2-1) now prepared to take on undefeated Union (Tenn.) University on Thursday night in the Sports Center at 7:00 PM.
