toward the end of the season. She
did what she had to do to jeep runners from scoring and was a much-improved
pitcher from her freshman season."
2011: Came on strong at the end of the season as the No. 2 starter…went
5-5 with a 3.96 ERA…earned first career win on April 8 against Cumberland
(Tenn.) after throwing 4-2/3 scoreless innings…threw one-hit shutout against
Lyon (Ark.) on April 19…won games on three straight days in conference play
from April 17-19…had a 21:3 strikeout-to-walk ratio in her last five games.
2010: Saw limited time in the circle going 0-2 in three
starts…struggled with control, allowing 24 walks in 6.1 innings pitched...has
worked hard during the offseason and is ready to show marked improvement.
Before FHU: Prepped at Cornersville HS and helped lead her team to
state tournament appearances in 2008 and 2009…threw a pair of shutouts at state
tournament in 2009, totaling 30 strikeouts in the two games.
