2011: Started 41 games behind the plate as a freshman…finished the
season strong hitting .350 over her last eight games…hit first career home run
against Montreat (N.C.) on March 12…threw out 39 percent of base-stealers
against her…was second on the team in home runs and third in RBI.
Before FHU: Prepped at Covington HS where she was a three-time
all-district and all-district tournament selection…had career high school
average of .351 with 20 home runs…helped her team to four consecutive
appearances in the state tournament…named to Commercial Appeal Best of the Preps squad…president of the student
council.
