2006: First homerun and RBI came against Faulkner University on Mar. 29...got his first collegiate hit in his second college game ever played against NCAA DI Austin Peay State University on Mar. 23 and ended the day with two hits...hit two homeruns and drove in four runs against conference foe Lyon College the weekend of Apr. 8-9...led all freshmen in every statistical category including homeruns (3) and RBIs (17) in 118 at bats...had an eight-game hit streak beginning on Apr. 22 and continuing through the end of the season on May 5.
High School: hit .355 with one homerun and 20 RBI for Coach Brent Chaffin...Named best defensive player his senior season...won the student athlete award for his high school...played wide receiver for Coach Jerry Joslin.
Personal: Son of Gary and Sue Bush and has one sister named Lacey...majoring in education with an emphasis in history...had a 3.4 GPA in high school...his favorite movie is Forrest Gump...likes the New York Yankees and the outdoors...claims to be the biggest Payton Manning fan in the state of Tennessee.
